举例说明: 2009 年 5 月 1 日 怎么写？怎么读？
(1)年份的表示法
表示“年”用基数词,通常先读前面两位数,再读后面两位数。如:
1886 年读作: eighteen eighty-six
2009 年读作: two thousand and nine
(2)日期的表示法
表示“月”就用那12个月份的英语单词。“日”用基数词或序数词表示均可。
如: 8 月 5 日 写作: August 5(th)
读作: August the fifth 或 August five
5 月 1 日 写作: May 1(st)
读作: May the first 或 May one
那么连起来的“2009 年 5 月 1 日”可以这样写：May 1st, 2009 或 1st May, 2009，可以这样读：May the first，two thousand and nine或者May one，two thousand and nine。
